BELLA COTHER

Music has been Bellas passion ever since she watched Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” at the young age of four. From there she performed with the Young Adelaide Voices until in primary school at the age of 12 where she performed her very first big performance in front of 2,000 people, in the Festival of Music. 
 At 16 years old, Isabella faced some of the hardest moments of her life. Studies dropped, family hardships, friends came and went; but music always stayed. Music is what kept her mind and body running, no matter what life threw at her. This year, Bella will be performing in multiple Fringe Shows, including her very own show -‘Songbird: Bella Cother sings Fleetwood Mac”. 2020 will also bring on the start of her 3 year experience at the University of Adelaide studying Bachelor of Music, Jazz Performance.

BEN WALLER

Ben is very excited to be working with the Promise Adelaide company and organisers. He has been performing since the age of 7 and this is his first pure musical theatre songs performance. It’s also Ben’s first venture in ensemble performance since he moved here in August 2019 from the UK. In the UK he acted in a number of plays with Captive Audience Ltd, based in Derbyshire, UK, most recently as Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet. In addition he has composed music for a number of plays and performed on his own and with his band, The Faults.

EMMA GOOD

 Emma Good is 10 years old and has been performing as a solo and ensemble vocalist, and in musical theatre productions, with Theatre Bugs and Pelican Productions since she was 7. She has performed as a back-up singer and dancer with legendary children’s entertainer Peter Combe at venues including the Festival Centre, Hopgood Theatre and in the Garden of Unearthly Delights for the 2019 Adelaide Fringe. As a solo vocalist she has performed at Sing for Dignity (Splat Productions), Broadway Sessions and Broadway Sessions Jr. She is looking forward to playing the part of Michael in Adelaide Theatre Academy’s upcoming production of Peter Pan at the 2020 Fringe.

HOLLY ABBOTT

Holly Abbott is 14 years old. Holly has been dancing and singing at TIDC Performing Arts Studio for the past 9 years under the direction of Kerreane Sarti, and is a voice student of Emma Riggs, and The Studio and Star Factory, where she is also part of a vocal ensemble group. Holly has been in over 20 Musicals with various companies ... with some of her favourite roles being Jemima Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with NLTC, Kelsi in High School Musical, Young Fiona in Shrek Jr, Tracey Turnblad in Hairspray Jr all with Adelaide Youth Theatre. She was also cast in Matt Byrne Media’s 2019 production of Strictly Ballroom where she played Kylie Hastings - Holly has also played the title role in NLTC's 2017 production of Annie - where she was also honoured to receive the Theatre Association of South Australia award for Best Youth Female Actor for this role. Holly has also performed as a soloist in the USA with the Australian Youth Performing Arts Team - where she was lucky enough to perform at Disney World and Universal Studios, before participating in various workshops with Broadway performers in New York City – where she hopes to one day perform herself! This is Hollys second year cast in Musical Moments she was also fortunate enough to be part of the cast of Rising Stars with Promise Adelaide  - which has been a highlight for her.

IMOGEN TAIT

Imogen, 17, has been performing since the age of 4, taking dance lessons in ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary. She began singing lessons in 2015 while attending Scotch College. That year she also performed in their production of Jesus Christ Superstar as a member of the tap troupe. In 2016 and 2017 she performed as part of the mass ensemble for Harvest Rain’s productions of Hairspray and Grease respectively. In 2017 she was a part of Glenunga International High School’s musical The Little Mermaid Jr. Imogen has performed with Pelican Productions for the last 10 years in their summer program Music Theatre Camp and has gained many skills from the plethora of industry professionals who have been a part of MTC also. Recently in 2019 Imogen completed Stage 2 Solo Performance and Ensemble Performance gaining A grades for both subjects. Imogen is an avid theatre goer and thoroughly enjoys musical theatre; her favourite musicals are Matilda and Spring Awakening. She is very excited to be performing with and supporting Promise Adelaide in Musical Moments.

KIARA LINKE

Kiara has been singing, dancing and acting for as long as she can remember. She enrolled in her first dance class at the age of 2 and has continued to take Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Acrobatics, Cheer, Singing and Musical Theatre at TIDC Performing Arts Studio. At the age of 10, Kiara developed a love for Musical Theatre and got her first role in Adelaide Youth Theatre's Bugsy Malone (2015). She then went on to perform in The Little Mermaid and Aladdin (2016) and from 2017 she has been successful in gaining prominent and lead roles in Peter Pan (2017) Fairy - Lyria/Vidia, Shrek Junior (2017) Young Fiona, Shrek (2018) Young Fiona, Madagascar Jnr (2018) Rico the Penguin, High School Musical (2019) Ms Darbus and most recently as Gertrude in Seussical Jnr. In 2016 and 2019 Kiara performed in Postcards from Around the World and Musical Moments at the Royal Adelaide Show produced by Shane International. In 2017 Kiara starting taking vocal classes at The Studio and Star Factory and is a member of one of their very talented and successful vocal ensembles - GLO. Kiara is a passionate, captivating and talented young performer with a bright future ahead of her.

LUCY RICE

Lucy is 13 years old and her heart beats to the tune of Musical Theatre.  Nothing makes her happier than performing and she has been entertaining the hungry masses she was 3 years of age, most recently with Pelican Productions starring as Mary Poppins as part of their 2020 Music Theatre Camp (MTC). She has been blessed to be a part of numerous performing arts companies including March Productions (Barnum), Promise Adelaide (Musical Moments), Shane Davidson Productions (Into the Woods Jr - Florida) (Beauty & the Beast Jr - Silly Girl) and Pelican Productions (Annie Jr – Drake and Seussical Jr), as well as part of their MTC since 2015, which she has held many feature solos. Lucy is a member of the Walford School Concert Choir as well as their performing choir, Chica Voce. She trains in vocal technique and music theatre with Linda Ellis and Kylie Green  and has trained in dance since she was 3 years: studying Broadway jazz, tap, ballet and hip hop with Norwood Ballet.

LUCY STIRLING

Lucy, 12 years loves every part of being involved in music theatre! Her first show was with Pelican Productions at the age of 9, performing as Annie in Spotlight 2017, in which she won the Most Outstanding Theatre Performer Award for her cast. Since then she has been a regular performer with Pelican Productions including Mrs. Mayor in Seussical Jr 2017, “Mrs Pugh” in Annie Jr 2018, sung “When Christmas Comes to Town” from Polar Express in Spotlight 2018, played “Charity” in the “The Greatest Show” Spotlight 2019, played “Jasmine” singing Speechless from Aladdin recently at MTC 2020 and a “Silly Girl” in Shane Davidsons, Beauty and the Beast. She has performed at the Balaklava Eisteddfod in 2019 with her trio placing first in Music Theatre Ensemble and won overall Champions. She takes voice lessons with Tania Savelli and trains in Dance at Accent on Dance including song and dance, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and tap. Lucy can’t wait to perform in this years Musical Moments.​

MADELEINE SCHROETER 

Madeleine Schroeter is 9 years old. Maddy has been singing since before she could talk. She has been attending Theatre Bugs since she was two and has participated in numerous school holiday programs as well as Cabaret and end of year productions. Maddy has had singing lessons with Mim Sarre since the start of 2019. She performed at Sing for Dignity last year.  Maddy's first musical was Dear Edwina Jr (Theatre Bugs) and she was in The Little Mermaid Jr (Pelican Productions). This year, she is looking forward to performing in the Lion King Jr, also with Pelican Productions. Maddy participated in her first Musical Theatre Camp this year where she was cast in the role of Cosette in Les Miserables. When Maddy isn't singing, she loves to dance and is part of her school aerobics team. Her favourite musical is Wicked and she hopes to have the opportunity to perform in it one day.

MIA FERRARETTO

Mia is 14 years of age and has been singing since she was five. She also studies piano, dance and drama. Mia was a soloist at the Catholic Schools Music Festival in 2017 and 2018 and with the Woodville Concert Choir in 2019. She has also been invited to sing with Christian songwriter Andrew Chin on his last two albums. Mia loves musical theatre and has performed with Pelican Productions, Adelaide Youth Theatre and Adelaide Theatre Academy as well as being a member of the Champion Musical Theatre Ensemble at the 2019 Balaklava Eisteddfod. Mia is thrilled to be performing in her third season of Musical Moments.

MORGAN SMITH

My name is Morgan. I am 12 years old and this is my second year performing at the Fringe with Musical Moments. I started dancing when I was 3 years old and vocal coaching when I was 8. I currently dance with TIDC Performing Arts Studio and have vocal coaching at the Studio and Star Factory. I have been involved in many youth musical theatre productions including Aladdin Jr, Madagascar Jr, Peter Pan Jr, and Shrek Jr with Adelaide Youth Theatre, The Little Mermaid, Mary Poppins, The Wizard of Oz and The Credit Union Christmas Pageant with Australian Classical Youth Ballet, Legally Blonde and Alice in Wonderland with The Parks Youth Theatre and The Lion King with Pelican Productions. One of my favourite things to do is to go to the theatre and see a musical. Some of my favourites have been Mary Poppins, Aladdin, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mumma Mia, The Wizard of Oz, Wicked, The Lion King, and Matilda  . . . just to name a few.

NIA PHILLIPS 

Nia loves to sing, dance and act. She enjoyed performance from an early age, taking the part of Young Juliet in the short film, Forever (Felicity Arts 2011). Further performances include, Garden Fairy in the media installation Otanical (Felicity Arts 2016). Nia has performed with the companies, Adelaide Youth Theatre and Shane Davidson Presents (Peter Pan Jr - Adelaide Youth Theatre 2017), (Beauty and the Beast Jr -Shane Davidson Presents 2018). Most recent roles include, The White Queen in Alice in Wonderland (Shane Davidson Presents 2019) and The Fairy Godmother in Cinderella Kids (Adelaide Youth Theatre 2019). She was also thrilled to be part of Wicked (St Aloysius College 2019) and to perform as a Garland Dancer as part of the roving entertainment in Adelaide’s 2019 Diner en Blanc (Felicity Arts). Nia also enjoys numerous performances as an enthusiastic student at TIDC Performing Arts Studio, where she practises singing, musical theatre and a range of dance styles.Nia is delighted to be performing with Musical Moments.
